Leslie Olsen is president of Olsen Communications Consultants, LLC. She founded her own media communications company in 2009 after making the tough decision to leave a successful 31 year career in broadcast journalism. Olsen spent more than 25 years covering education for WISH Channel 8. For many years, K-12 was her focus. During her broadcast career, Olsen was awarded several honors from Associated Press and United Press International. In 2008, the Indianapolis Education Association honored Olsen with its "Human Rights Award for Leadership in Communications."
