CPA/businessman, managing partner of Ernst and Young’s Indianapolis office. He was the first African-American promoted to partner by one of the major Indiana CPA firms (Arthur Anderson) in 1991. In 2000, he again made history when he was named managing partner, the first African-American to ever hold this position in the history of the then-74-year-old company. He’s received numerous accolades, including the Achievement Award from both the National Association of Black Accountants and Center for Leadership Development. He serves on many boards, including the Boy Scouts of America, United Way of Central Indiana and Goodwill Industries. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity and Sigma Pi Phi fraternity. He contributes annually to the Shortridge Alumni Association’s Legacy Scholarship.
